Coming & going

National Express coaches go to Derby, Leicester and Manchester. Trent Barton buses stop at Buxton en route between Derby and Manchester.

 

There are frequent trains between Buxton and Manchester (Piccadilly) that you can travel on with a Wayfarer ticket, which allows unlimited travel on buses, trains and trams in the Greater Manchester area and to parts of Cheshire, Derbyshire, Lancashire and Staffordshire. The Wayfarer ticket costs £8.60 for one-day.
