Dentdale

Part of the Yorkshire Dales National Park, this region of rolling countryside lies between the Lake District and the more visited parts of the Yorkshire Dales. You can often find accommodation here on busy weekends when the hostels in the Lake District are full.

Coming & going

Dentdale is served by bus 564B, which runs occasionally through the dale but Dent station on the Carlisle-Settle railway is an easier option for travellers using public transport.
