Oulu

Oulu is located on the Gulf of Bothnia in northern Finland and many travellers pass through here on the way to Lapland. Although Oulu is centuries old, it is a modern city and a leading centre for high-tech industries.

Coming and Going

Oulu lies on the train line that connects Helsinki to Rovaniemi and there are at least five trains a day in either direction.

Tietomaa

This excellent science museum reflects the city's high-tech outlook. Inside you'll find a wide range of interactive exhibits that brings science to life. The complex also includes an IMAX cinema, which is included in the admission price.
