Fucking

This small village (population around 100) 33km (21 miles) north of Salzburg is best known because of its name and it has become popular with English-speaking tourists who come here to have their photo taken next to the sign at the entrance to the village.

In November 2008 the village hosted the Festival of the Fuck Bands, featuring bands like Fuck, Fuck Buttons, Fucked Up and Holy Fuck.

Coming & going

OÖVV bus route 2302 operates between Schärding and Eggerding making stops at Unterfucking (Lower Fucking) and Oberfucking (Upper Fucking). However it only runs once a day from Monday to Friday so most visitors to Fucking come here by bike or car.
