Marbella
The nicest of the Costa del Sol resort towns has a lot more to offer than the neighbouring package-tourist hell. Although it doesn't have a lot of sights, Marbella is much classier than you may have expected and is worth a visit if you're after a beach resort to rest up after all those churches, castles and museums elsewhere in Andalucía.
