This former concentration camp also known by its German name, Theresienstadt, makes a sobering day-trip from Prague. The town's original residents where evicted by the Nazis shortly after the establishment of the concentration camp and very few chose to return after the war. Although depressing, the town gives you a fascinating insight into one of the most horrific periods of the 20th century.
