Western IslesAlso known as the Outer Hebrides, this group of remote islands boasts a very traditional lifestyle with Scottish Gaelic speakers comprising 75% of the islands' population. Lewis (Leodhas)The majority of the Western Isles' population calls Lewis home, mostly living in fishing and crafting villages in the island's northwest and also in Stornoway on the east coast.
