Glasgow Cathedral & NecropolisThis cathedral was built from the 13th to 15th centuries over what is believed to be the tomb of St Kentigern and it is the only medieval cathedral in mainland Scotland to have been spared during the Reformation. The necropolis behind the cathedral has an eerie atmosphere and is worth a look. The Glasgow Tower is Scotland's tallest structure and the only tower in the world that can completely rotate 360º. It is closed for maintenance but when open it offers brilliant views of the city and out to Ben Lomond and Lanarkshire. Both the Science Mall and IMAX theatre are striking in their titanium construction.
