Ljubljanski potniški promet (website www.lpp.si) operates Ljubljana's 21 bus routes, although few tourists use local buses as the centre is small enough to walk around.

The bus fare (300 SIT) is written on a box next to the driver. You may either put the correct change in the box or buy a token (190 SIT) from a post office or newspaper kiosk.
