Vienna is one of Europe's great capitals with an old town surrounded by monumental buildings which include the Hofburg and many world-class museums. Other attractions include the Belvedere and Schönbrunn palaces.

If you're planning to spend a few days here, it is well worth buying the Vienna Card. The card costs €18.50, includes 72 hours use of Vienna's public transport network and offers discounts on around 100 museums, sights, theatres, wine taverns, etc. The Vienna Card is available from U-Bahn stations, tourist information centres and hotels.
There is a free wireless internet hotzone in the Museumsquartier and Freewave also operates a network of Wi-Fi hotspots in Vienna.
