The tourist office has the usual array of brochures and also sells the Vienna Card.

If you're planning to spend a few days here, it is well worth buying the Vienna Card. The card costs €16.90, includes 72 hours use of Vienna's public transport network and offers discounts on around 100 museums, sights, theatres, wine taverns, etc. The Vienna Card is available from U-Bahn stations, tourist information centres and hotels.

In Viennese addresses, the first numbers represent the postal code and refer to the neighbourhood and the latter number refers to the street number.
