AIR

Zurich's Airport (website www.zurich-airport.com) is located 10km north of the city centre. The airport is easily accesible by frequent trains that leave Hauptbahnhof every 10-15 minutes. The airport train costs SFR 5.80.

TRAIN

Zurich has frequent trains to most major destinations within Switzerland as well as direct international trains to Innsbruck, Milan, Munich and Stuttgart.

BUS

Eurolines (website www.eurolines-schweiz.ch) has frequent buses from Zurich to destinations in the Balkans and Eastern Europe including Bosnia, Croatia, Czech Republic, Hungary, Macedonia, Serbia and Slovakia.

HITCHHIKING

Hitching is pretty good in Switzerland.

The N1 is the main road that runs west to Basel and Berne and southeast to Bregenz and Innsbruck. To get to the N1, take bus 54 to Sportsweg and walk 200 metres to the motorway entrance.
